# The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (Modification, Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Regulations 1999, Regulation 4: Modification of the Employment Rights Act 1996


In the relevant period references in sections 139(3) and 218(7) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 to a school maintained by a local education authority shall apply to a grant-maintained or grant-maintained special school.
