# The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (Repeal) (Wales) Order 2010, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1 September 2010
The Welsh Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred on the National Assembly for Wales by section 45D of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, and now vested in them, make the following Order.
In accordance with paragraph 35(3), Table 1 of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006, a draft of this Order was laid before, and approved by resolution of, the National Assembly for Wales.
