# The School Teachers (Consequential Amendments) (Wales) Regulations 2004, Regulation 2: Amendment of Further Education Teachers' Qualifications (Wales) Regulations 2002


(1) The Further Education Teachers' Qualifications (Wales) Regulations 2002 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2 omit the definition of “1999 Regulations qualification”, and insert the following definition at the appropriate place —
““school teachers' qualification” (“cymhwyster athrawon ysgol”) means a qualification that confers upon persons the status of qualified teachers within the meaning of regulation 5 of the Education (School Teachers' Qualifications) (Wales) Regulations 2004;”.
(3) In regulation 3 substitute for sub-paragraph (a) in each of paragraphs (2), (3) and (4) the following sub-paragraph —
“(a) a school teachers' qualification;”.
