Paragraph 6 Horticulture (Special Payments) Act 1974 (c. 5)

In section 1 of the Horticulture (Special Payments) Act 1974, after subsection (5) there is inserted–

“(5A)

Where a scheme under subsection (5) is made for Scotland only–

(a)

any reference in that subsection to Parliament or to a House of Parliament shall be construed as a reference to the Scottish Parliament;

(b)

the reference to a period during which Parliament is prorogued shall be omitted; and

(c)

the reference to a period during which both Houses are adjourned shall be construed as a reference to a period during which the Scottish Parliament is in recess.”.
