  "text": "(1) Standing orders which provide for the appointment of committees may include provision for those committees to have power to appoint sub-committees.\n(2) The standing orders shall include provision for ensuring that, in appointing members to committees and sub-committees, regard is had to the balance of political parties in the Parliament.\n(3) The standing orders may include provision for excluding from the proceedings of a committee or sub-committee a member of the Parliament who is not a member of the committee or sub-committee.",
