# The Scotland Act 2016 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2016, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations bring into force—
provisions in Part 3 of the Scotland Act 2016, which relate to welfare benefits and employment support;
section 65 of the Act, which makes various amendments to the Office of Communications Act 2002.
