  "text": "An individual is disqualified from holding the office of Commissioner if the individual is or, within the year preceding the date on which the appointment is to take effect, has been—\n(a) a member of the Scottish Parliament,\n(b) a member of the House of Commons,\n(c) a member of the House of Lords,\n(d) a member of the European Parliament,\n(e) a person who is, or who is a member, employee or appointee of, a person in relation to whom the Commissioner has functions under section 2(1).",
