# The Scottish Borders Tourist Board Scheme Amendment Order 1995, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 1995/1890 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Coming into force 31st August 1995
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 172(1) and 173(1) and (2)(e) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf and after consulting the Scottish Tourist Board and The Scottish Borders Council in accordance with section 173(4)(a) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
