# The Scottish Child Payment Regulations 2020, Regulation 4: Interpretation

In these Regulations—
“the 2018 Act” means the Social Security (Scotland) Act 2018 ,
“child” means a person under the age of 16, and
“coronavirus” means severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2).
