# The Scottish Dental Practice Board Regulations 1997, Regulation 4: Constitution of the Board


The Board shall consist of–
(a) a chairman who shall be a dentist; and
(b) seven other members, of whom–
(i) four shall be dentists (hereinafter called “dental members”); and
(ii) three shall be persons who are not dentists.
