# Scottish General Election (Coronavirus) Act 2021, Section 6: Dissolution of current Parliament


(1) For the purpose of the holding of the poll for the 2021 election, the Scottish Parliament is dissolved on 5 May 2021.
(2) But subsection (1) is subject to section 11(8).
