# The Scottish Landfill Tax (Qualifying Material) Order 2016, Introduction: Introductory text


Landfill Tax

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 11th February 2016
Coming into force 1st October 2016
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 13(4) and 14(7) of the Landfill Tax (Scotland) Act 2014 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Before making this Order, the Scottish Ministers have complied with the requirements of section 13(8) of that Act.
