# Scottish Local Authorities (Tendering) Act 2001, Introduction: Introductory text


An Act of the Scottish Parliament to remove the time limit on the period during which the provisions about competition in the Local Government Act 1988 may be modified in relation to local authorities.
The Bill for this Act of the Scottish Parliament was passed by the Parliament on 6th June 2001 and received Royal Assent on 6th July 2001
