# Scottish Local Authorities (Tendering) Act 2001, Section 1: Compulsory competitive tendering: local authorities


In section 2(10) of the Local Government Act 1988 (c.9) (which empowers the Scottish Ministers to modify that Act’s competition provisions in their application to local authorities, but only up to 31 December 2001), the words “being a date not later than 31 December 2001," are repealed.
