# The Scottish Parliament (Elections etc.) Order 2010, Article 75: Prohibition of paid canvassers

If a person (“P”) is, either before, during or after a Scottish parliamentary election, engaged or employed for payment or promise of payment as a canvasser for the purpose of promoting or procuring a particular result at the election both P and the person so engaging or employing P shall be guilty of illegal employment.
