  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order brings into force the last remaining provision of the Scottish Qualifications Authority Act 2002 (“the Act”). This Order commences on 31st August 2004 section 1(7)(b) of the Act (relating to the repeal of paragraphs 9(2) and 9(3) of Schedule 1 to the Education (Scotland) Act 1996, which make provision for the payment of pension, and compensation, to the chairman of the Scottish Qualifications Authority).\nThe Act received Royal Assent on 6th June 2002. Section 6 came into force on Royal Assent. Sections 2 to 5 came into force on 7th August 2002 and section 1, with the exception of sub section (7)(b), came into force on 19th August 2002 (S.S.I. 2002/355).",
