  "text": "(1) The parents of the pupils in attendance at a public school constitute (and are collectively to be known as) the “Parent Forum” of the school.\n(2) A Parent Forum may be represented by a body (to be known as a “Parent Council”) established by them under section 6 for the school.\n(3) The education authority are–\n(a) to promote the establishment of, and\n(b) to support the operation of,\na Parent Council.\n(4) Subsection (3) is subject to section 16(15).",
