# The Scottish Secure Tenancies (Exceptions) Amendment Regulations 2002

## Introductory text

This Scottish Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.S.I. 2002/314 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Instrument.

Coming into force 30th September 2002
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 109(2) of, and paragraph 3(2) of schedule 1 to, the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:

## 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Scottish Secure Tenancies (Exceptions) Amendment Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 30th September 2002.

## 2 Amendment of Regulations

(1) The Scottish Secure Tenancies (Exceptions) Regulations 2002 are amended in accordance with these Regulations.
(2) For paragraphs (b) and (c) of regulation 2, substitute–
“(b) any institution within the higher education sector within the meaning of section 56(2) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992;
(c) any institution which provides further education within the meaning of section 135(1) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980;”.
