# The Seafarers’ Wages Regulations 2024, Regulation 15: Determining the applicable national minimum wage equivalent

The national minimum wage equivalent applicable to a seafarer as respects their hours of UK work in a pay reference period is the rate which would apply to the seafarer on the first day of that period.
