# The Seafarers’ Wages Regulations 2024, Regulation 8: Period for payment of surcharges

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

An operator must pay each surcharge to which the surcharge notification relates within the period of 60 days beginning with the day after the day on which the surcharge notification was given.
