  "text": "Animals\nMade 15th August 2010\nLaid before Parliament 17th August 2010\nComing into force 20th August 2010\nThe Secretary of State is a Minister designated in relation to products derived from pinnipeds under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.\nThese Regulations make provisions for a purpose mentioned in that section and it appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for references to Regulation (EC) No 1007/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on trade in seal products of 16th September 2009 to be construed as references to that Regulation as amended from time to time.\nThe Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of, and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to, the European Communities Act 1972.",
