# The Section 19 Minibus (Designated Bodies) (Amendment) Order 1997, Article 5: New designated bodies


In the Schedule, after item 1 there shall be inserted the following item—
“
1A Every council constituted under section 21 of the Local Government Act 1972.
(a) Bodies to whom the council may make grants under section 65 of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968.
(b) Schools or bodies which fulfil the duty of the council under the Education Act 1996 with respect to the provision of education, and bodies connected with such schools or bodies.
(c) Bodies which assist and coordinate activities of community bodies within the area of the council.
”
