Article 3 Designated bodies

The bodies specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Order (who appear to the Secretary of State to be bodies concerned with education, religion, social welfare, recreation, or other activities to the benefit of the community) are hereby designated for the purposes of section 19 of the Act as entitled to grant permits in relation to the use of a small bus.

In addition to granting permits to itself, a body designated by paragraph (1) of this article may, under section 19(3) of the Act, grant permits to classes of bodies specified in relation to the body in column 3 of the Schedule to this Order.
