  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nUnder paragraph 10 of Schedule 1 to the Housing Act 1985, a tenancy is not, for a specified period, a secure tenancy if it is granted for the purposes of enabling a student to attend a designated course at an educational establishment and the notification requirements of that paragraph have been satisfied.\nThese Regulations amend the Secure Tenancies (Designated Courses) Regulations 1980 by additionally designating full-time courses at establishments within the higher or further education sectors.They are consequential on the Further and Higher Education Act 1992.",
