# The Seed (Equivalence) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2022, Introduction: Introductory text

The Welsh Ministers in whom the powers conferred by section 16(1) to (4) of the Plant Varieties and Seeds Act 1964 are now vested, make the following Regulations.
The Welsh Ministers have consulted with representatives of such interests as appear to the Welsh Ministers to be concerned with these Regulations in accordance with section 16(1) of that Act.
