# Seed Potatoes (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These Regulations further amend the Seed Potatoes Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1981 by removing the requirement to mark the name of the variety on packages and containers of basic seed potatoes produced in Northern Ireland which are exported or intended to be exported from Northern Ireland.
