  "text": "“SCHEDULE 1\nMATTERS ARISING UNDER THE CEREAL SEEDS REGULATIONS 1993\nRegulation 3\n(1)\n(2)\n(3)\nMatter\nWhen payable\nFee\n£\n£\nInitial fees\nA Initial fee per hectare or part thereof for crops intended to produce:\nOn application for registration\n(i) pre-basic or basic seed\n21.80\n(20.00)\n(ii) certified seed of the first generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley, triticale and oats or certified seed of rye and maize\n5.45\n(5.00)\n(iii) certified seed of the second generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley and oats\n4.90\n(4.50)\nCrop inspection fees\nB Fee for official examination or re-examination of crops intended to produce pre-basic or basic seed, per hectare or part thereof examined\nOn application\n10.90\n(10.00)\nSeed lot fee\nC Fee for the issue of an official certificate in respect of a seed lot entered as:—\nOn application\n(i) breeder’s, pre-basic or basic seed, certified seed of the first generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley, triticale, oats or certified seed of rye and maize\n35.95\n(33.00)\n(ii) certified seed of the second generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley and oats\n18.00\n(16.50)\nSeed testing fees\nD Fee for an official examination of seed for loose smut infection of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat and barley (per thousand embryos examined)\nWithin one month of demand by or on behalf of the appropriate Minister\n31.60\n(29.00)\nM Fees for additional tests\nE Fee for a Tetrazolium seed viability test in C1 Winter Wheat and C1 Winter Barley\nWithin one month of demand by or on behalf of the appropriate Minister\n37.05\n(34.00)\n”",
