  "text": "“SCHEDULE 1\nMATTERS ARISING UNDER THE CEREAL SEEDS REGULATIONS 1993\nRegulation 3\n(1)\n(2)\n(3)\nMatter\nWhen payable\nFee\n£\n£\nA. Initial fees\nInitial fee per hectare or part thereof for crops intended to produce:\n(i) pre-basic or basic seed\nOn application for registration\n23.45\n(22.35)\n(ii) certified seed of the first generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley, triticale and oats or certified seed of rye and maize\n5.90\n(5.60)\n(iii) certified seed of the second generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley and oats\n5.25\n(5.00)\nB. Crop inspection fees\nFee for official examination or re-examination of crops intended to produce pre-basic or basic seed, per hectare or part thereof examined\nOn application\n11.70\n(11.15)\nC. Seed lot fee\nFee for the issue of an official certificate in respect of a seed lot entered as:—\n(i) breeder's, pre-basic or basic seed, certified seed of the first generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley, triticale, oats or certified seed of rye and maize\nOn application\n38.70\n(36.85)\n(ii) certified seed of the second generation of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat, barley and oats\n19.35\n(18.45)\nD. Seed testing fees\nFee for an official examination of seed for loose smut infection of wheat, durum wheat, spelt wheat and barley (per thousand embryos examined)\nWithin one month of demand by or on behalf of the appropriate Minister\n34.00\n(32.40)\nE.
