  "text": "(1)\n(2)\n(3)\nMatter\nFee payable within one month of demand by or on behalf of the Scottish Ministers\nFee £\nA. Initial fees\nInitial fee per hectare or part thereof for crops intended to produce:–\n(i) pre basic or basic seed of\n(a) grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n18.50\n(b) field beans and field peas\n16.00\n(ii) certified seed of grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n8.65\n(iii) certified seed of the first and second generation of field beans and field peas\n7.40\nB. Crop inspection fee\n(i) Fee for official examination or re-examination of crops intended to produce pre-basic, basic or certified seed per hectare or part thereof examined (including crops of hybrid swede rape and hybrid turnip rape)\n12.30\n(ii) Fee for official examination or re-examination of certified seed of Scots Timothy crops per hectare or part thereof examined\n5.50\n(iii) Fee for the official examination or re-examination of certified seed of the first and second generation of field beans and peas.\n12.30\nC. Seed lot fee\nFee for the issue of an official certificate (other than in the circumstances described under D below) in respect of a seed lot entered as:–\n(i) breeder’s seed of\n(a) grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n33.30\n(b) field beans and field peas\n54.20\n(ii) pre-basic or basic seed of\n(a) grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n62.85\n(b) field beans and field peas\n54.20\n(iii) certified seed of grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n62.85\n(iv) certified seed of the first and second generation of field beans and field peas\n50.50\n(v) commercial seed of the kinds for the time being specified in regulation 3(3) of the Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations 1993\n55.45\nD. Seed lot re-entry fee\nFee for the issue of an official certificate in respect of a seed lot which was entered for one category and has been withdrawn and is being re-entered as:–\n(i) pre-basic or basic seed of\n(a) grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n44.00\n(b) field beans and peas\n37.95\n(ii) certified seed of grasses, legumes (except field beans and field peas) and crucifers\n44.00\n(iii) certified seed of the first and second generation of field beans and peas\n35.35\n(iv) commercial seed of the kinds for the time being specified in regulation 3(3) of the Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations 1993\n38.80\nE. Sampling fees\nFee for sampling or re-sampling of a seed lot for the purposes of an official examination and for sampling or re-sampling imported seed intended for further multiplication\n30.90\nF. Official label fees\nAdditional fee for the issue and printing of official labels:–\n(i) tear-resistant labels for breeders seed, pre-basic and seed for export; per seed lot\n33.00\n(ii) self adhesive labels for breeders seed, pre-basic and seed for export; per seed lot\n22.90",
