  "text": "In these Regulations—\n“the Act” means the Self-build and Custom Housebuilding Act 2015;\n“association” means an association of individuals;\n“development permission” has the meaning given in section 2A(5) of the Act;\n“lead contact” means a member or officer of an association who acts on behalf of the association for the purposes of correspondence with a relevant authority;\n“local connection test” has the meaning given in regulation 5(2);\n“member” in relation to an association which is a body corporate refers to a person who is a member of the association and not to a member of the body corporate; and\n“register” means the register that a relevant authority is required to keep under section 1(1) of the Act (register of persons seeking to acquire land to build a home).",
