# The Senior Courts (Transfer, Amendment and Consequential Provision) Order 2026, Paragraph 13: County Courts Act 1984


(1) The County Courts Act 1984 is amended as follows.
(2) In section 5 (judges of the county court), in subsection (2)(e), for “Chancellor of the High Court” substitute “President of the Business and Property Division”.
(3) In section 18 (jurisdiction by agreement in certain actions), for “Chancery Division” substitute “Business and Property Division”.
