# Sentencing Act 2020, Paragraph 72

Status: prospective

(a) In section 397(1) (interpretation: general), in the definition of “extended sentence”, omit paragraph (b) (but not the word “or” immediately after that paragraph).
(b) in the definition of “serious terrorism sentence”, omit paragraph (a) (including the word “or” immediately after that paragraph).
