# Sentencing Act 2020, Paragraph 68


After section 52 of the Senior Courts Act 1981 insert—
“Appeals to Crown Court: criminal courts charge
52A The criminal courts charge duty (see section 46 of the Sentencing Code) applies to the Crown Court when dismissing an appeal by a person convicted of an offence against conviction or sentence for the offence.”
