  "text": "The following provisions of the Serious Crime Act 2007 shall come into force on 1st October 2008—\n(a) Part 2 (encouraging and assisting crime) together with Schedules 3 (listed offences), 4 (extra-territoriality), 5 (amendments relating to service law) and 6 (minor and consequential amendments);\n(b) section 68(1) to (7) (disclosure of information to prevent fraud);\n(c) sections 69 and 70 (offence for certain further disclosures of information and penalty for that offence);\n(d) section 71(3) and (6) (code of practice for disclosure of information to prevent fraud);\n(e) section 72 (data protection rules);\n(f) section 91(1) (transitional and transitory provisions and savings) in so far as it relates to the provisions in sub-paragraph (g);\n(g) paragraphs 5, 6 and 8 of Schedule 13 (transitional and transitory provisions and savings);\n(h) section 92 (repeals and revocation) in so far as it relates to the entries in Schedule 14 in sub-paragraph (i); and\n(i) in Schedule 14 (repeals and revocation) the entries relating to—\n(i) the Criminal Law Act 1977;\n(ii) the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980;\n(iii) the Magistrates’ Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981;\n(iv) the Criminal Attempts and Conspiracy (Northern Ireland) Order 1983;\n(v) the Public Order Act 1986;\n(vi) the Computer Misuse Act 1990;\n(vii) the International Criminal Court Act 2001; and\n(viii) the Police and Justice Act 2006.",
