# The Severn Bridge Regulations 1993, Regulation 17: Interference with signs


No person shall, without the previous authorisation of the concessionaire, where tolls are for the time being leviable by a concessionaire, or of the Secretary of State, remove, deface or obscure any notice or sign placed on or near the existing bridge, the existing toll plaza area, or any structure, works or apparatus in, on, under or over that bridge or that area in connection with the regulation of traffic thereon or with the collection of tolls.
