# The Severn Bridges (Amendment) Regulations 2010, Regulation 4: Place and manner of payment


After Regulation 5(4) add—
“(5) For the purpose of this regulation, “recognised” means—
(a) where the power to levy tolls is for the time being exercisable by the concessionaire, recognised and accepted by the concessionaire; or
(b) where the power to levy tolls is for the time being exercisable by the Secretary of State, recognised and accepted by the Secretary of State.”.
