# The Sewerage Nuisance (Code of Practice) (Scotland) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 16th March 2006
Coming into force 22nd April 2006
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25(1) and (3) and 34(2) of the Water Services etc. (Scotland) Act 2005 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and after consultation in accordance with section 25(8) of that Act with Scottish Water, every local authority and such other persons as they consider appropriate, hereby make the following Order:
