  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order contains a sewerage code for the purposes of sections 25 and 26 of the Water Services etc. (Scotland) Act 2005 (asp 3) (“the 2005 Act”).\nSection 25 of the 2005 Act enables the Scottish Ministers to make an order containing a code of practice (called a “sewerage code”) for the purposes of assessing, controlling and minimising sewerage nuisance.\nSection 26 of the 2005 Act makes provision for the monitoring and enforcement of a sewerage code by local authorities.\nArticle 2 of, and the Schedule to, this Order provide for the code to have effect for the purposes of those sections.\nThe sewerage code contained within the Schedule to this Order is the “Code of Practice on Sewerage Nuisance – Assessment and Control of Odour from Waste Water Treatment Works”.",
