  "text": "SEX DISCRIMINATION\nMade 26th June 1996\nLaid before Parliament 11th July 1996\nComing into force 1st August 1996\nThe Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 79 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf–\n(a) being satisfied on the application of Borders Regional Council as the governing body of the educational endowment described in article 2 below that the modification of a provision which restricts the benefit of the endowment to persons of one sex would conduce to the advancement of education without sex discrimination; and\n(b) having published a notice under section 79(3) of the said Act and having received no representations duly made in accordance with that notice;\nhereby makes the following Order:",
