# The Shared Parental Leave and Statutory Shared Parental Pay (Consequential Amendments to Subordinate Legislation) Order 2014, Article 26: Armed Forces (Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme and Further and Higher Education Commitment Scheme) Order 2012

(1) The Armed Forces (Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme and Further and Higher Education Commitment Scheme) Order 2012 is amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2 (interpretation)—
(a) omit the definition of “additional paternity leave”;
(b) in the definition of “ordinary paternity leave”, omit the word “ordinary”;
(c) after the definition of “the Scheme administrator” insert—
““shared parental leave” means leave under section 75E or 75G of the Employment Rights Act 1996;”
(d) in the definition of “qualifying service”—
(i) “for “ordinary paternity leave” substitute “paternity leave”;
(ii) after “paternity leave” insert “shared parental leave”.
