# The Shared Parental Leave and Statutory Shared Parental Pay (Consequential Amendments to Subordinate Legislation) Order 2014, Article 33: Armed Forces Pensions Regulations 2014

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) The Armed Forces Pensions Regulations 2014 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 3 (interpretation)—
(a) omit the definition of “additional paternity leave”;
(b) in the definition of “ordinary paternity leave” omit the word “ordinary”;
(c) after the definition of “sending scheme” insert—
““shared parental leave” means leave under section 75E or 75G of the Employment Rights Act 1996;”.
(3) For paragraph (2)(b) of regulation 24 (meaning of “assumed pay”) substitute—
“(b) is on ordinary adoption leave, ordinary maternity leave, paternity leave or paid shared parental leave;”.
