  "text": "(1) The Firefighters’ Pension Scheme (England) Regulations 2014 are amended as follows.\n(2) In regulation 3 (interpretation)—\n(a) omit the definition of “additional paternity leave”;\n(b) in the definition of “child related leave”—\n(i) omit paragraph (e);\n(ii) at the end insert of paragraph (f) insert “or”;\n(iii) at the end insert—\n“(g) shared parental leave;”;\n(c) in the definition of “statutory pay”—\n(i) in paragraph (c) omit “ordinary”;\n(ii) omit paragraph (d);\n(iii) at the end insert—\n“(e) statutory shared parental pay within the meaning section 171ZU (entitlement: birth) and section 171ZV (entitlement: adoption) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992;”\n(d) at the appropriate place there is inserted—\n““shared parental leave” means leave under the Shared Parental Leave Regulations 2014;”.\n(3) In regulation 18 (meaning of “assumed pensionable pay”), in paragraph (2)—\n(a) in sub-paragraph (c)—\n(i) after “additional maternity leave,” insert “shared parental leave or”\n(ii) omit “or additional paternity leave”;\n(b) in sub-paragraph (e)—\n(i) after “additional maternity leave” insert “or shared parental leave”;\n(ii) omit “or additional paternity leave”.\n(4) In regulation 113 (contributions during child-related leave), in paragraph (3)—\n(a) omit “additional paternity leave,”;\n(b) after “additional adoption leave” insert “, shared parental leave”.",
