# The Shared Parental Leave Regulations 2014, Regulation 13: Continuous period of shared parental leave (birth)

Extent: E+W+S

Where an employee gives a notice under regulation 12 which requests one continuous period of shared parental leave, the employee is entitled to take that period of leave.
