  "heading": "Exemption certificates",
  "text": "(1) The import or export of shark fins, or things containing them, is exempt from the prohibition in section 1 if—\n(a) the appropriate authority has issued a certificate under this paragraph (an “exemption certificate”) in respect of the import or export,\n(b) it takes place on the date, or within the period, specified in the certificate, and\n(c) the certificate has not been revoked.\n(2) An exemption certificate must—\n(a) contain a unique number (or a combination of letters and figures);\n(b) contain enough information to identify the shark fins concerned;\n(c) specify whether it relates to an import or export.",
