Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Sheep Scab (National Dip) Order 1990 so as to—

(1)

commence the relevant period for the dipping of sheep on 22nd September in any year (article 2(2) and (7)(a)); and

(2)

delete the requirement for undipped sheep to be accompanied by declarations in either Form U or V (which are consequently deleted from the 1990 Order) when they are moved (article 2(3) to (6)).
