# The Sheriff Court Fees Order 1997, Article 9: Proceedings to which fees under this Order do not apply


(1) The fees regulated by this Order do not apply to–
(a) any application under–
(i) any enactment relating to registration of births, deaths and marriages;
(ii) Part III of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968; or
(iii) the Mental Health (Scotland) Act 1984; or
(b) any application or appeal under Part II of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995.
(2) Except in relation to the fee specified in paragraph 37 of the Table of Fees, the fees otherwise payable by a debtor or creditor in terms of this Order shall not apply to any proceedings under the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987.
