  "text": "(1) Where a provision of these Rules, other than Chapter 15 (motions), provides for a period of intimation of—\n(a) a motion;\n(b) opposition to a motion; or\n(c) consent to a motion,\nother than the period mentioned in this Chapter, that period will apply instead of the period mentioned in this Chapter.\n(2) Paragraph (1) applies whether or not the intimation period mentioned elsewhere in these Rules is referred to by a specific number of days.\n(3) Where—\n(a) every receiving party in a cause consents to a shorter period of intimation; or\n(b) the court shortens the period of intimation,\nthe motion may be lodged by the lodging party, or heard or otherwise determined by the court at an earlier time and date than that which is specified in this Part.",
