# The Single Source Contract (Amendment) Regulations 2019, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st September 2019
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14(1), 15(1), 21(2) and (4)(a), 23(4)(b), 24(1), (2)(a) and (4)(a), 25(1) and (6)(a), 28(1), 29(2) and (4), 30(2)(a), 42(1) and (2) of the Defence Reform Act 2014.
