  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations which apply to England and Wales, amend the Slaughterhouses (Hygiene) Regulations 1977 (“the principal regulations”).\nThe Regulations —\n(a) amend principal regulation 13 so as to provide that the opening of any ventilation pipe may not be located inside any slaughterhouse building (regulation 3);\n(b) amend principal regulation 37(b) so as to exempt from the skinning requirements, the heads of sheep not intended for human consumption and so as to apply the same requirements to the heads of goats (regulation 4).",
