# The Slaughterhouses (Hygiene) (Amendment) Regulations 1987, Regulation 2: Interpretation


In these Regulations the expression “the principal regulations” means the Slaughterhouses (Hygiene) Regulations 1977and unless the context otherwise requires, any reference herein to a numbered regulation shall be construed as a reference to the regulation so numbered in the principal regulations.
